A graduate of Trinity International University, Carey served for nearly twenty years as the Youth and Assistant Pastor of the Salem Baptist Church of Chicago, where he developed a nationally-emulated teen ministry model that reached thousands of inner-city youth in Chicago and in urban areas across the nation.
